Class Description

Happi Dawgs 2 is a class of 6 dogs or less, who are 4 months and older and who have completed Happi Dawgs 1 or an equivalent, basic, positively reinforced dog class, and are now ready to go to the next level.

Each class is 1 hour.

You will improve your dog’s attention on you and increase your dogs’ socialization skills. Learn how to become a great leader to your dog, improve your body language and voice communication and get rid of those ‘stinkin’ leashes!

By improving your knowledge of how dog’s learn, and bettering your body language communication with your dog you will achieve a better relationship with your dog opening the gates to a more bonded relationship and better skills.

In Happi Dawgs II – Family Dog Intermediate you will learn:

• Leave it
• Stays With Distractions
• Better Leash Skills / Polite Walking
• Better Body Language
• Long Distance Stays
• Waits/Stop
• Recall past distractions
• Improve your relationship

This 4 week class is open for all dogs who have taken a positive reinforcement, basic obedience class and/or already know, sit and down stays, some leash walking, and basic come when called skills.

• Proof of current vaccinations for Rabies, and DHPP required
• Please bring records to first class
• Dogs come to ALL classes
• Handlers under 18 years of age must have an adult present

Bring Leash, collar or harness (no choke chains please) and soft, small, nutritious treats for your dog.  It’s best not to feed them before class.  The only additional equipment needed for this class is a long line, 20ft or longer.

If you cannot attend the class you registered for, Please cancel your registration 48 hours in advance of the class start date to avoid a late cancellation fee. There are no transfers, substitutions or refunds for this class once you have started the class.
